Bank Accounts

SAP offers flexibility to determine how much confirmed cash, floating cash out and floating cash in there is for your company on any particular day. For this we must form  a strategy for the bank account G/L structure. For this to work, there  must be only only one confirmed G/L account, with several bank-clearing accounts. For example, a checks outgoing clearing, wire outgoing, ACH out and deposits clearing need to be set up for each bank account. It is also important to leave yourself a room for additional clearing accounts for future need. The most flexible and best solution is to have a range of 10 G/L account numbers for each bank account.
Let's say for example, each confirmed cash balance will end with 1 ( i.e. G/L account 140001), each deposit clearing account will end with 2 ( i.e. G/L account 140002), each outgoing check clearing account will end with 3, each outgoing ACH account will end with 4 and each outgoing wire account will end with 5.
