Tolerance days

Tolerance days are considered as grace period. They are subtracted from overdue days to determine whether interest should be calculated. For example, if an item is one item is one day overdue and one tolerance day is granted, it will be treated as paid on the due date and no interest will be calculated. However if an item is five days overdue and one tolerance day is granted, the item is treated as four days overdue and interest is been calculated.
